DISCIPLES ADVOCACY and WITNESS NETWORK (DAWN) is a regional advocacy network that seeks faithfully to proclaim and promote within the Capital Area the ethical imperatives of the gospel in relation to racial equality, economic justice, and nonviolence. As a ministry of the Christian Church Capital Area, DAWN brings together concerned Disciples--individuals, congregations, and organizations--to work together in the continuing struggle against racism, violence, and poverty.
